one of my favourite fruits. I love their flavour, and I love their beautiful colour. That is probably why I love this glaze so much! However, I had never tried it on any of my lacy bowls until this one.
I was pleasantly surprised at how it came out, and it really has a lovely fruity red feel to it. It's definitely a much bolder look for the lacy birds than the soft blues that I often use! It's surprising just how different their effect is in this colour.

Ohhh. That is a beautiful color Elizabeth. Is that red as touchy as the other, or is it easier to manage. How is my flock coming along?
Danielle
Sadly this is the touchy red... It's fine and foodsafe etc, but reacts differently if the temperature is even fractionally different, hence it only goes this colour in a certain spot in my kiln. It goes a soft pink elsewhere, which is nice, but I love the raspberry!!
Your flock is coming on fine Danielle, they've been cleaned up and are pretty much dried out, so they can go in for their bisque firing in the next 24 hours. Then they'll be glazed when they come out. I'm so excited about them!!!
