New poppy bowls - Handmade porcelain flower sculptures.
I'm having my own personal great pottery throwdown in my studio this week. Here are the latest pieces out of my kiln.
Only one set available and just on sale. Find them here
Each one was made in the palm of my hand from pure white English porcelain. I never get tired of using it - such a beautiful material. The finest ceramic on the planet in my opinion - slightly translucent, smooth, fine and stunning. Hope you like it as much as I do!

Christmas gifts for guys...
Choosing Christmas gifts for men can be tough! My sets of flying ducks are about my most masculine piece, especially in the midnight lake finish above - these have been really popular to decorate the style conscious mancave! I think perhaps a few men might also like my new teepee clocks too, or even some of my plant markers for guys that like gardening.
I know I have a few gifts for men still to find! What are your failsafe gift ideas for guys?

New Christmas decorations!
Being sick gave me some serious time to think. I thought and thought and thought. In the blur of it all, I was still designing, still plotting, still inspired. I think that is why I am still sane now! Although there are some that might disagree with that diagnosis ;) Here are some of the ideas for Christmas decorations that blossomed in the midst of the chaos. I hope you'll like them.
Back in the summer, a couple of awesome friends took me away on a mystery trip. I had no idea where we were going, but they took me camping in Anglesey in Wales. Well, glamping in fact. We stayed in a fabulous place that had yurts and teepees in a super pretty location, with comfy beds and all equipment there. The perfect hideaway and so much fun. I will definitely go back. So I made these fun little teepee decorations, or Christmas Treepees as I like to call them, because I thought snowy teepees hidden among the branches of your Christmas tree would be super fun!
To turn Christmas trees into pear trees with partridges has never been simpler ;) My partridge in a pear tree.

I just love Pinterest. I could lose days over there, looking at beautiful things, drooling over delicious recipes and imagining fantastic places. I love to pin things for Christmas gift ideas and Christmas decor ideas too so that I am not overwhelmed by the task in hand once the festive season draws near.

Angel Christmas Tree Decorations
Last few angel Christmas tree ornaments left now!
We're getting a little low on these and some of my other ranges, check out my full range of Christmas tree decorations here.
I made them from high fired white porcelain so treated carefully, these could be on your grandchildren's tree in 100 years!
The surface is decorated with pretty broderie anglaise fabric texture :)

Getting Christmassy!!
Well it is starting to feel very wintery here - black Friday has been and gone; Cyber Monday kicks off the Christmas shopping season in earnest and pretty soon everyone will be tucking into Turkey and pulling crackers!
So to celebrate the start of the season we're giving away a free ornament with every order placed by Monday night. And here are some of the Christmas tree ornaments I've been making this year:
Which ones are your faves?

Christmas decoration video!
A lovely lady got in touch to tell me that she had made a VIDEO about receiving her Christmas decorations in the post for her youtube channel!!
So she also sent it over to me in case I wanted to see it and use it on my blog! So here it is - thank you Lucy! It has got me thinking about making some videos too, so hopefully I shall make some about what I get up to and start uploading those too :)
In the meantime, I hope you like seeing my Christmas ornaments and new packaging!
Having trouble with the video? You can also see it here.

New work - Flutter butterfly

Each one is unique because they are hand made without using a mold. The position of the lace is slightly different on each one, and I really like the variation that this creates.

When I made the first few, I tried them out in my studio, and noticed that their shadows change as the light changes through the day. In the evening with a lamp nearby, or in direct sunlight in late afternoon, their shadows are more dramatic, whereas they are softer at other times. What do you think?! Comments welcome!
